Obie Philbrook Counseling

About

Obie grew up in Maine and has traveled extensively throughout the US. He has worked as a middle school teacher in New Orleans, a charter fishing captain in Key West, and a personal trainer in Key Largo. He has earned numerous national body-building awards. A local business owner, Obie received his BA in sociology in 2000 and his MA in counseling in 2014, both from the University of Southern Maine. In his practice, Obie utilizes the existential belief that our lives have meaning. Searching for our life meaning through a better understanding of ourselves is fundamental in his approach to therapy.
